'Baraka' is an ancient Sufi word meaning a blessing, or the breath or essence of life, from which the evolutionary process unfolds. This gorgeous and revelatory epic was filmed in 24 countries on six continents and was directed by Ron Fricke, cinematographer of 'Koyaanisqatsi'.
