Coach Carter
Based on the true inspirational account of controversial basketball coach Ken Carter (Samuel L. Jackson), who received high praise and staunch criticism for a gymnasium "lockout" of his undefeated team for poor academic performance. With players, parents, and the community rallying to get the team back on the court, Carter overcomes the obstacles of his environment showing the young men a future beyond gangs, drugs, prison and even basketball.
