Trouble with the Curve
Bittersweet drama stars Clint Eastwood as Gus Lobel, a veteran baseball scout who is nearing the end of his career. Realising that her father is struggling to keep up with the demands of his job as his eyesight deteriorates, Gus's daughter Mickey (Amy Adams) reluctantly agrees to accompany her father on his upcoming scouting venture. Justin Timberlake and John Goodman co-star. Debuting director Robert Lorenz is a long-time collaborator of Eastwood, having worked as both producer and assistant director on many of his later films.
