Gridiron Gang
Based on a documentary of the same name about a group of juvenile criminals who are uplifted by a determined probation officer, Sean Porter (played by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson). Porter takes a group of disaffected youth, currently serving time in a California detention centre, and transforms them into a winning gridiron football team. Xzibit co-stars as Porter's sidekick, and at the end of the film excerpts from the original documentary show the real Porter and his once-delinquent charges. Hackneyed maybe, but the story is faithful to the true events.
