Come In Spinner

Adapted from the Australian war-time novel by Dymphna Cusack and Florence James, this acclaimed mini-series centres on the lives of three women running a beauty salon in a Sydney invaded by boisterous US troops at the winning end of the war. From languid, wealthy Palm Beach to the brothels of Kings Cross, 'Come in Spinner' is sharply observant of the relationships between men and women and the new era ushered in by World War II.
