Thumbsucker

Striking the perfect balance between adolescent awkwardness and black comedy, this film stars Lou Taylor Pucci as a neurotic 17-year-old whose coping mechanism of choice happens to be thumbsucking. A fantastic supporting cast includes Tilda Swinton as his mum, who's in love with TV star Benjamin Bratt; Vincent D'Onofrio as his dad in the middle of a mid-life crisis, Vince Vaughan as his eccentric debate coach and Keanu Reeves as a new age orthodontist. Written and directed by promising newcomer Mike Mills.
