Sunshine Cleaning
Rose (Amy Adams) had a bright future ahead of her, but several failed relationships and one child later, she is squandering her potential in the suburbs. Her unreliable sister Norah (Emily Blunt) still lives at home with their oddball dad (Alan Arkin), whose penchant for get-rich-quick schemes has left the family without a financial safety net. But the ever-optimistic Rose has come up with a plan, she's started up a cleaning service with a difference - mopping up crime scenes. 'C.S.I.' meets 'Little Miss Sunshine' in this offbeat indie feature that also stars Steve Zahn as Rose's married lover. Director Christine Jeffs was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
