Sometimes in April

In April 1994 a violent uprising between the Hutus and Tutsis of Rwanda led to one of the darkest periods in African history, and over the next 100 days nearly 800, 000 people were slaughtered in a genocidal frenzy. This incredible war drama made for HBO, focuses on two brothers who ended up on different sides of the conflict. Raw and visceral this devastating film unveils the tragic events and aftermath of a time in recent history largely ignored by the international community.
