Shake Hands With The Devil: The Journey of Romeo Dallaire

In the North American spring of 1994, the world was gripped by OJ Simpson and his gloves, as 800, 000 men, women and children were literally hacked to death in Rwanda. In charge of the UN command was Canadian Lt Gen Romeo Dallaire, ill-equipped, uninformed and with almost no outside support, Dallaire could do virtually nothing to stop the genocide. This incredibly powerful and moving documentary is based on his book, 'Shake Hands With The Devil: The Failure of Humanity in Rwanda'.
