Murder on a Sunday Morning

This intense and exciting Oscar-winning documentary focuses on the wrongful arrest of 15-year-old African-American, Brenton Butler, for the murder of a middle-aged white woman in Jacksonville, Florida in May 2000. After the police beat a false confession out of him, Brenton is sent to jail and placed on trial. What results is an inspiring portrait of a courageous and loving family, as well as a scathing indictment of police corruption and the injustice of racial profiling. Utterly compelling viewing.
