Adrift in Manhattan
Three intersecting lives form the framework for this soulful drama about loss and alienation in the big city, all with the connecting theme of vision. Heather Graham plays an optometrist unable to cope with the crushing grief of having lost a child; Tommaso is an ageing artist who is trying to come to terms with losing his sight; and Simon is a withdrawn teen who finds connection with people from a distance, using a camera. A penetrating study on the possibilities for meaningful interaction lying dormant in contemporary urban life.
