The Wackness

Set on the streets of '90s New York, Luke Shapiro (Josh Peck) is in the sweet limbo between high school and college - chasing girls and trading pot for psychotherapy. A delicate friendship develops between him and his stoner shrink (Ben Kingsley) who is going through a messy marriage break-up as Luke deals with his own family problems and being in love with Kingsley's daughter. This engaging indie delight is loaded with quirky humour and a laid back hip-hop soundtrack; Kingsley and Peck have great chemistry, and look out for a surprising turn from Mary-Kate Olsen.
