George and Mildred: Series 2

Mildred is flying up the social ladder - fancy jumble sales, local repertory theatre - it's all go. Long-suffering George remains at home, making sure the neighbours think poorly of him. There are a few spanners in the works for the 'Man About the House' landlords: George's secret love letters; Mildred's dream of travel and a visiting sister-in-law that spells impending doom for their domestic bliss.
