Catering student Robin Tripp can't believe his luck when offered to share a flat with two young girls, Chrissy and Jo. While it's a strictly "keep your hands to yourself" arrangment, their suspicious landlord George Roper keeps a disapproving eye on them, whilst Mrs Roper is thrilled to finally have a "Man About The House". Broadcast in 1973, "Man About The House" became an instant hit with audiences with its daring premise (at the time) of co-habitation. A document of the changing times of 70's TV, "Man About The House" would spawn a feature film plus two equally successful spin-off's "George and Mildred" and "Robin's Nest".
