Sauna
A transcendental shocker, set in 1595, just as Protestant Sweden and Orthodox Russia have reached an uneasy truce. In the wake of their fighting, Finland has become a wasteland, and assigned to re-draw the border between them and Russia are Finnish brothers Knut and Erik. They couldn't be more unalike; Erik is a battle-scarred warrior whose mind has been twisted by the horrors of war; Knut is a gentle scientist with no love of fighting. But out there in the border wilderness, they are about to commit a horrifying sin that will come back to haunt them sooner than they could imagine. The main industry gong in Finland is the Jussi Award, this bleak horror was nominated for 7 and won 3.
