Norwegian Wood

Set in 1960s Tokyo, this romantic Japanese drama based on Haruki Murakami's semi-autobiographical 1987 novel concerns a literature student (Kenichi Matsuyama) whose best friend commits suicide. Coping with the sudden tragedy leads him not only to fall in love with the deceased young man's distraught girlfriend (Rinko Kikuchi), but also for another female student. Kiko Mizuhara and Tetsuji Tamayama also star.
