Anton Chekhov's The Duel

The passion between aristocrat Laevsky (Andrew Scott) and Nadia (Fiona Glascott), his married lover, cools shortly after the two retreat to an idyllic resort along the Black Sea. Destitute and disillusioned, Laevsky faces a more dangerous challenge when arrogant zoologist Von Koren (Tobias Menzies) arrives on the scene and berates his character, leading to the titular showdown. Adapted from the 1891 Chekhov novella, this moody romantic drama co-stars Nicholas Rowe, Michelle Fairley.
