Another Roger Corman interpretation of the works of Edgar Allan Poe starring Vincent Price. He plays a Spanish nobleman of the 16th century who goes crazy when he thinks his wife has been buried alive. He actually 'becomes' his own father, an inquisitor. His torture chamber is filled with all sorts of interesting and deadly gadgets. With Barbara Steele in her first American film.
