K-Pax
Based on the novel by Gene Brewer, but owing quite a debt to 'Man Facing Southeast', 'K-Pax' stars Kevin Spacey as Prot, a homeless man who appears at New York's Grand Central Station one day claiming he is a visitor from the distant planet K-Pax, and is promptly taken to a psychiatric facility. As Spacey is treated by workaholic doctor Jeff Bridges, he displays an amazing knowledge of astrophysics and innate healing abilities, and Bridges begins to wonder if Spacey's story might be true.
