Charlotte Gray

In this stirring WWII drama, Cate Blanchett is the title character, a Scotswoman whose boyfriend has been shot down while flying a mission over France. Blanchett, who speaks French, volunteers to work as an undercover courier. Along with serving as liaison between the British and French resistance fighter Billy Crudup, she also becomes the guardian of two Jewish boys whose parents were taken to concentration camps. With Michael Gambon and Rupert Penry-Jones.
