Seducing Doctor Lewis
Chosen to close the Director's Fortnight at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival, Jean-Francois Pouliot's comedy charts the chaos wreaked on a small, down-at-heel town when seduced by the promise of large-scale industry. But there's a condition - the remote town must employ a doctor. When mild-mannered Dr Lewis (David Boutin), arrives from Montreal the townspeople try every devious trick in the book to make him stay.
