Broken Flowers

Bill Murray is at his deadpan best in this typically understated comedy/drama from unique auteur, Jim Jarmusch. Emotionally stilted Don Johnston (Murray) receives an anonymous letter stating he is the father of a teenage boy who is about to start looking for him. Reluctantly Don hits the road, revisiting old girlfriends in search of the mum, and as it turns out, himself. An all-star crop of old flames include Sharon Stone, Frances Conroy, Tilda Swinton, Jessica Lange and Julie Delpy. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes 2005.
