Moonlight Mile

Set in a small New England town in the early 1970s, this moving tale of love, loss, grief and renewal stars Dustin Hoffman and Susan Sarandon as the parents of a murdered girl who allow her fiance (Jake Gyllenhaal) to move in with them. Serving as the pair's de facto child, Gyllenhaal takes a job with Hoffman's real estate business, but is eventually forced to confront his feelings and a secret he's kept from his "in-laws." Holly Hunter, Ellen Pompeo also star.
