The Chumscrubber

When disaffected teen, Dean (Jamie Bell), discovers the body of his friend hanging in his bedroom, he doesn't bother telling any adults as he doesn't think they'll care. But this suicide will be the catalyst that cracks open the white-picket-fence facade of the outwardly perfect neighbourhood of Hillside. Treading the familiar ground of suburban malaise, this satire has nothing much new to say, but a fetching ensemble includes Glenn Close, Ralph Fiennes and John Heard.
