The Corporation

Based on a book by Joel Bakan, this documentary considers the fact that, under American law, corporations are individuals and have the same rights as individual people. It then examines the psycho-pathology of these 'individuals' by following a World Health Organisation - Personality Diagnostic Checklist - and the findings aren't good. Case studies, anecdotes and true confessions reveal behind-the-scenes tensions and influences in several corporate and anti-corporate dramas, each illuminating an aspect of the corporation's complex anti-social character.
